HURRICANE IRMA FACTS

wind

We still have ongoing issues with IRMA Recovery:  fence repairs, lighting and repainting of signs.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE as we strive to get these projects completed by the Fall.

VINTAGE TRACE ROOFS

Due to Irma the VCA did not send out notices to residents about their dirty roofs.  Starting in September Pegasus will send out letters to all residents with roofs that need cleaning.

If you are in a stall pattern with your insurance company about roof replacement and receive a letter, please call Pegasus and let them know your situation.

HURRICANE REPAIR UPDATE

We have received bids from contractors and are in process of reviewing finances to determine what can be done with the wall/fence along our northern border.

The ficus bushes are recovering and new plantings have been completed along the temporary fence.  The new bushes will continue to be used when the temporary fence comes down whether or not a wall/fence is installed.

LAKE STUDY

Lakeside View

The Lake study has been completed.  It is extensive and expensive.  VCA is going back to Davidson Engineering to develop a priority list of immediate projects and those that could be delayed.  We also need to obtain estimates of related project costs.

The VCA is already investigating spillway into Mullet Creek to ensure it is operating efficiently.

STREET STORM DRAINS

Make sure all street storm drains remain clear of any
debris.  Please

remove and dispose of debris properly.  This helps prevent street flooding throughout the communities during our heavy rainy season.

GOLF COURSE - CONSTRUCTION ZONE!!

Please help us save an injury or a life - YOURS.  DO NOT walk your dog, jog, bike or use your golf cart on the golf course or its cart paths.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION!

PROPOSED ZIPCODE CHANGE

Congressman Francis Rooney co-sponsored H.R. 6113 introduced by Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart to address unresolved unique zipcode creations in the Village of Estero.  When incorporated in 2014 the post office did not create a unique zip code for all of Estero which has caused problems for many residents.

Officers of VCA for 2018 are:
