WELCOME BACK REMINDERS

snowbird

Our numbers are growing every day as we see more out of state license plates driving thru the community.  Please watch your speed (23mph), stop at ALL Stop signs (YES, even @ RR).  We could still incur heavy fines if RR company wants to enforce.

We have lots of walkers.  Please take a flashlight with you at night and wear light reflective clothing.  If you have a dog, take a flashlight or put  a small light on your dog.

Along Vintage Trace please put on your outside lights - both house and garage.  It helps light up the neighborhood, increases security and makes the community more welcoming.  All the other neighborhoods already keep their lights on at night.  Timers, etc are inexpensive and easy to install so you don't always have to remember.  THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR COMPLYING WITH THIS REQUEST!

LAKE INFORMATION

Man with Lawnmower

The VCA Board is asking everyone whose property borders the lakes -  Estero Country Club, neighborhoods and individual homeowners to ask your landscapers to not blow grass clippings into the lakes.  The last one or two cuts should be directed toward the lawn areas, NOT THE LAKE!    We hope this will help minimize the algae growth.

COMCAST CUSTOMER SERVICE

As a reminder to all and especially new Vines residents, Comcast Customer Service can be contacted 24/7 at 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489).  It is important that you call using the phone that is registered with your Comcast account.

When you dial the 800 number their system recognizes you as a bulk customer and will direct you to their Bulk Call Center and these reps are familiar with the Vines contract and services.  (Their could be an exception if Bulk Call Center is overloaded)

If after multiple calls or tech visits your concerns have not been resolved please send an email to Pegasus @ Admin@pegasuscam.com with the following information:  Name, Address, Phone #, problem/concerns, details of all phone calls & responses, tech visits, or other helpful information.

DO NOT CALL PEGASUS AS THEY CANNOT PROCESS YOUR CONCERNS OVER THE PHONE.

MISCELLANEOUS UPDATES

The Village of Estero has received permits from Aldi to build on the area north of WalMart.  Opening is planned for late 2019.  We have no further information on Dunkin Donuts.

Mullet Creek (the creek our lakes empty into by the weir) should be cleaned up sometime in 2019 by SWF Water Management.  This concern was raised in our lake study.  We are now waiting for plans from EarthTech on suggestions to improve the slope of the lake banks, plants, rip rap, bubblers and extending the hundreds of drains that feed into the lakes at the proper level.

Lee Health Coconut Point opens December 3.  Open House is on November 17 with 5K run/walk at 7:30 am.  Festivities and tours begin at 9:30 am.

Purchase of "Estero on the River" approved, closing scheduled for January 14, 2019.  Estero Parkway improvements are planned.  Widening the parkway, walkway, and plantings in center medians.
