COMMUNITY REMINDERS

The holidays are here and we have lots of visitors in the community.  Please reduce speed in both your cars and golf carts, stop at the stopsigns, and be very cautious at night.

If fishing, please fish ONLY on VCA common property and

be respectful of resident's personal property.  If you are unsure of approved areas, please contact your neighborhood board.

VCA quarterly dues will increase by $10/quarter beginning in 2019 to accommodate the raise in Comcast contract fees and various increases in the 2019 VCA budget.

If you call an ambulance you will likely be taken to new Lee Memorial Hospital at Coconut Point since its closer.

VCA PROJECT UPDATES

New bushes have been planted along VTC to replace 30 year old foliage.  They will take slightly longer to grow taller but tolerate shade much better.

Next big project is to replace wiring for the bollard lights along VTC.  This will happen during the spring/summer months of 2019.

Bidding process has started for the lakes study which will provide more specific projections of costs associated with the project for evaluation.

VCA Board has met with Aldi to formulate a plan for the upkeep of their property and signage to steer traffic away from the common driveway.  Aldi's legal department is developing plan and our lawyer will finalize plan after approval of VCA Board.  There has been no further development from Dunkin Donuts.
