COMMUNITY UPDATES/REMINDERS

The repaired lift station view will be enhanced by calusia bushes and a green wooden gate.  Bids have been obtained and forwarded to Lee County.

If you have comments or concerns residents are always welcome at all VCA and various Community meetings whose schedules are regularly posted at the neighborhood pool bulletin boards.  You may also contact the VCA Board President directly, Gloria Beck, 239-315-3235,

Ms. McCracken only edits and publishes the newsletter.  All questions, comments, etc. are fowarded directly to the Board for resolution.

Please note that VCA Meeting schedule has changed to 11am on Mondays due to ECC requirements.

Meeting dates are as follows:

October 28, 2019,  November 25, 2019,  December 23, 2019

January 27, 2020, February 24, 2020, and Annual Meeting on

March 23, 2020

The VCA is now in the process of the fall trimming of bushes, palms and hardwoods on our property. The palms at the front entrance have already been trimmed and await the Christmas lights to be installed

and readied for lighting the weekend before Thanksgiving.

In compliance with the county regulations, the hardwoods along Vintage Trace Circle will be raised on the road side to the height of 13'6". This allows trucks to safely pass under.  All homeowners and communities having roadside hardwood trees are asked to clear their hardwood trees to the county height standard.  Please call Pegasus

(number below) if you need your trees trimmed.

TRAFFIC & SAFETY

snowbird

Its October already!  All our northern residents are coming back and this increases traffic on our roadways.

Remember we share the roads with joggers, walkers, bikers, golf carts, delivery trucks, landscaping services, and dog walkers at all times, day or night.  We must keep everyone safe, so

  • SLOW DOWN, STOP AT STOPSIGNS (EVEN RR TRACK), this is not an option.
  • WALK AGAINST TRAFFIC - single file, BIKE WITH TRAFFIC
  • DOGS MUST BE LEASHED!!  PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG!
  • WEAR REFLECTIVE CLOTHING, CARRY A FLASHLIGHT!
